NYS Asbestos Safety Training
This course is for those Electricians who prepare or otherwise enter a contained asbestos project work area for a limited time while performing electrical-oriented tasks associated with asbestos abatement. This course is offered with two different certification levels:
Allied Trades which requires 12 hrs. of instruction
Material Handler which requires 32 hrs. of instruction.

Corning Fiber Splice
This course, given by our certified trainers for Corning Fiber, will instruct the journeyman in the proper installation, termination and splicing of fiber optic cable. Upon completing the course and passing a final exam, the student will receive a Corning certification.

Green Buildings and Sustainable Construction - Module 1
This NYS Building and Construction Trades course will help the student to understand the "why" of green buildings and sustainable construction by providing an understanding of the language of green buildings and sustainable construction and how it will affect jobsite practices.  This course will also provide a backround on the U.S. Green Building Council and the LEED Rating System.

Green Buildings and Sustainable Construction - Module 2
This NYS Building and Construction Trades course picks up where Module 1 left off.  It will describe in detail the requirements pertaining to Comprehensive Construction Activity Prevention (CAPP), Construction Jobsite Commissioning (Cx), Construction Waste Management (CWM) and Construction Jobsite Indoor Quality.

Grounding and Bonding
This course begins with basic grounding and bonding fundamentals and then moves into AC systems, service equipment and main bonding jumpers.  The grounding electrode system and the grounding electrode conductor are subsequently discussed, along with the bonding and grounding of enclosures and equipment.

BUILT-RITE (Process Safety Management)
This is an 8-hour safety course covering many topics on safety as it pertains to our industry.  The BUILT-RITE process is a formal communication mechanism involving all three parties - owner, contractors and workforce - in the continuing activities that comprise the components of a construction project, including an introduction to OSHA and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and how they apply to safety. IMSA-Work Zone Traffic Control
Traffic control devices, such as signs, pavement markings and traffic signals provide information that guides and controls the flow of traffic.  The incorrect use of traffic control devices can result in injury or death and can lead to law suits.  The men and women, who design, install and maintain these traffic control devices, must know how to prevent such problems to create a safer environment for all concerned.

IMSA-Traffic Signal Level I

Cisco certified network associate courses I, II, III, IV
This is the first of four courses on current and emerging networking technology. Course instruction covers issues including safety, networking terminology and protocols, networking standards, LAN’s, WAN’s OSI models, cabling, cabling tools, bridges, hubs, routers, star topology, IP addressing, and network standards.
